Residents of Przewodów, where the explosion took place on Tuesday, reported hearing a bang. “We thought the drying room had exploded,” said one witness. TVN24 reporter Sebastian Napieraj, who was present at the scene, said that the victims of the incident were men aged “about 50 and 60 years old”.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that at 15:40 in the village of Przewodów in the Hrubieszów district in the Lublin province a Russian-made missile fell, as a result, two Polish citizens died. Earlier, a government spokesman reported that there had been an explosion there, which led to the death of two citizens.
Przewodów is a small town, located less than 10 kilometers from the border with Ukrainein which about a few hundred inhabitants live, said TVN24 reporter Sebastian Napieraj, who was present on the spot.
He said local media reported that the victims were men in their 50s and 60s. – They are local residents, employees of the place where grain is dried. The place where (currently) you can see a hole in the ground – he said.

A journalist who spoke to the villagers said many of them heard one or two explosions. “There was a bang, but we thought the dryer had exploded. We didn’t know it was bombs, one of the residents said in an interview with TVN24. According to him, two explosions were heard.
The journalist also spoke to a friend of the men who died. One of them is my classmate from school. They are really good people, he said. He reported hearing two whistles, “one after the other.”
