The Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Wrocław informed about another indictment in the case of Warsaw reprivatization. 10 people are expected to appear in court. Among the accused are three former city hall officials. The total value of the financial benefits, the giving and acceptance of which was covered by the indictment, amounts to almost PLN 400,000.

Spokeswoman for the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Wrocław, Katarzyna Bylicka, informed the Polish Press Agency on Friday that three of the accused were former officials from the Department of Decree Matters and Religious Associations of the Real Estate Management Office of the City of Warsaw. of Warsaw.

Bribes with a total value of over 390,000. zloty

“They were accused of accepting financial benefits in the form of cash, alcohol and other items in exchange for favor, positive and immediate recognition of the parties’ requests regarding reprivatization claims and the transfer of information from the files of administrative proceedings” – Bylicka reported.

The prosecutor accused seven other people of giving the then officials of the Warsaw City Hall material benefits, mainly in the form of cash. “In particular, in exchange for favor in examining decree applications,” the prosecutor said.

She added that the total value of the financial benefits, the giving and acceptance of which was covered by the indictment, is over PLN 390,000.

That’s 14 indictments

The indictment is the 14th indictment, which was directed by a team of prosecutors appointed at the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Wrocław to conduct investigations regarding failure to fulfill duties by public officials and extortion committed in connection with the so-called reprivatization of real estate in the capital city of Warsaw, said the Wrocław prosecutor’s office.
