On Sunday afternoon, a 54-year-old man was pulled out of the water on an unguarded beach in Jastarnia. Despite resuscitation, the man could not be saved. Another man, about 40 years old, drowned in the same city. On that day, during the forecasted dangerous weather, other people drowned in both Jastarnia and Kuźnica.

In Jastarnia, at the entrance to beach no. 41, two people drowned, to whom rescuers of the Volunteer Water Rescue Service were sent. The men transported to shore were about 40 years old. One of their lives could not be saved.

In Kuźnica, after 4 p.m., at the entrance to beach No. 36, rescuers helped two other drowning men, father and son. One of them, rescued by WOPR rescuers, was about 16 years old. He was taken by LPR helicopter to the hospital. His father is wanted.

On the same day, a 54-year-old man drowned in Jastarnia. The press officer of the Poviat Police Commander in Puck, staff midshipman Joanna Samula-Gregorczyk, said that at 3 p.m. the policemen from Jurata received a report about the ongoing resuscitation of a man on an unguarded beach.

– On the spot, the officers established that a 54-year-old man from the Opolskie Voivodeship was pulled out of the water by sunbathers, providing him with first aid, and the rescuers called to the scene undertook resuscitation. Despite the measures taken, the man could not be saved, she described.

Samula-Gregorczyk appealed for caution when resting by the water. – Use only guarded bathing areas, choose those with lifeguards. Pay attention to the flag hanging at the swimming pool. The red color is a categorical ban on entering the water. Remember not to enter the water under the influence of alcohol under any circumstances.
