Rescue operations in the Tatra Mountains. A tourist is dead

On Friday, TOPR reported that on Thursday a report from a tourist in need of a tourist arrived before noon via emergency number 112. Unfortunately, he failed to make direct contact with him. The information provided by the dispatcher showed that the man probably set off from the Kondratowa hall towards Giewont, he was exhausted and cold.

Two teams of rescuers set off in the search – one from the Kondratowa Valley, the other from the Little Łąka Valley. The drone operator, who searched Kopa Kondracka, also participated in the action. After 14 Two rescuers came across a yellow trail, between the Kondracka Pass and Kopa Kondracka, an unconscious man, dressed only in a light running outfit. Resuscitation immediately began, and the headquarters set out with specialized equipment.

In the meantime, rescuers received two more calls. First, four tourists got stuck at the Krzyżne Pass, and then help was reported for two tourists who left the trail in the area of ​​Mały Kozi Wierch. Both groups were safely brought to the shelter after dark in the Five Polish Ponds valley.
