Tobiasz Bocheński will make his debut in the Warsaw Council. He received a mandate, and in the district from which he ran, he obtained the second result.

The National Electoral Commission provided data from all Warsaw voting districts. Rafał Trzaskowski was re-elected president, receiving 444,006 votes (57.41%). In second place was Tobiasz Bocheński (PiS) with 178,652 votes (23.10%).

The former candidate of Law and Justice for the mayor of Warsaw did better in the elections for a city councilor. Bocheński started from district number 8, covering Wilanów, Ursynów and Włochy.

He was number one on the Law and Justice lists. 16,984 voters voted for him, which constituted 15.33 percent of votes in this district, and he received the mandate without any problems. The second PiS candidate in this district received 1,566 votes (1.41 percent).

Bocheński's result was the second in the district. He was overtaken only by the chairwoman of the city council, Ewa Malinowska-Grupińska, who received 27,823 votes (25.12 percent). Every fourth person voted for the Civic Coalition's candidate, which is the best result in the elections to the Warsaw Council.

From the eighth district there will also be: Sylwia Krajewska, district councilor from Ursynów, Michał Matejka, also associated with Ursynów, and Agnieszka Miękwicz and Iwona Pawłowska.

Another candidate from PiS was Chrystian Młynarek, a former Italian councilor, and Karolina Zioło-Pużuk from the Left.

He was the voivode of Łódź and Masovia

Bocheński spent most of his 36 years in Łódź. He was born and educated there – he graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Łódź. There he became a scientist and academic lecturer – since 2019 he has been a doctor of law at the University of Lodz. There he finally began his political career – alongside Zbigniew Rau, with whom he had been associated since his studies. When Rau became the voivode of Łódź in the fall of 2015, Bocheński became his assistant, then an advisor, and from 2017 also the director of the office.

In November 2019, Bocheński took over the office of the voivode of Łódź and served until April 2023, when he became the voivode of Masovia. He held this position from April 18 to December 13.
