On Thursday, the guest of “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24 will be Robert Lewandowski, captain of the Polish national team and FC Bayern Munich striker.
On Tuesday, Lewandowski received – for the first time in his career – the Golden Boot, the award for the best scorer in European leagues. In the 2020/2021 season, the Bayern player scored 41 goals.
In the Golden Boot classification in the strongest leagues on the Old Continent (English, German, Spanish, Italian and French), the number of goals is multiplied by two, so Lewandowski’s final score is 82 points.
The second place was taken by the Argentinian Lionel Messi, who at that time scored 30 goals (now Paris Saint-Germain) in the colors of Barcelona (now Paris Saint-Germain), and the third – Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus Turin (now Manchester United) – 29 goals, or 58 points.
Lewandowski: There are reasons to be pleased
– Certainly it is pride, also great happiness and self-esteem. What you do on the pitch, what you are a footballer. There is nothing to hide, looking at the last seasons, there are reasons to be satisfied. Thanks to this, you can gain even more self-confidence. Definitely hard work, results that sometimes come later, but patience also plays a key role in all of this – said Lewandowski.
The whole conversation with Robert Lewandowski in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24 from 19.30. The program will be conducted by Anita Werner.
