A 33-year-old from Rogoźno grew marijuana in his apartment. He even had a special wardrobe there, which ensured the rapid growth of plants. Now he faces up to 10 years in prison.

The 33-year-old was arrested on March 16. – As a result of operational work, Obornicki criminals identified and detained a 33-year-old resident of Rogoźno, suspected of possession and illegal cultivation of cannabis – says staff sergeant Izabela Leśnik from the Obornicka police.

During the search of his apartment, the criminals revealed jars, boxes and ziplock bags with the content of dried plant in the form of marijuana. Further down the room, they also revealed a cannabis plantation. – Thirteen bushes were in a special cabinet equipped with an installation ensuring rapid growth of plants – explains Leśnik.

Criminals secured a total of over 570 grams of marijuana and 13 cannabis plants. – The collected evidence allowed the detainee to be charged with three charges: possession of a significant amount of drugs, cultivation and preparation for marketing. At the request of the prosecutor’s office, the court imposed a three-month detention on the man. He is facing a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
