Two notifications were sent to the National Prosecutor's Office regarding the disclosure of Roman Giertych's conversations with Donald Tusk by Telewizja Republika. Notifications were made by Roman Giertych and the Central Anti -Corruption Bureau.

Notifications apply to recordings of conversations with the participation of, among others, a lawyer published from June 13, 2025 Romana Giertych – PK informed on Tuesday.

Giertych submits notifications to the prosecutor's office

The National Prosecutor's Office informs that Giertych has notified of “suspected committing a crime of exceeding his rights in 2019 by unlawful obtaining information using Pegasus software, and then providing to unauthorized persons of conversations conducted between him and Donald Tusk”.

He also notified of “suspected crime committed by journalists of Telewizja Republika, consisting in disclosing unlawfully obtained information on the station and on the website”.

In the same cases, the Central Anti -Corruption Bureau submitted notifications to the National Prosecutor's Office. Notifications will be forwarded to the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Bialystok.

Tapes published in Propis media

Propis Media, including TV Republika and WPOLSKA, have been publishing fragments of recordings for several days conversations Donald Tusk with Roman Giertych. They are to come from 2019, when the current prime minister was the chairman of the European Council.

The conversations relate to shaping electoral lists in 2019 and negotiations of Giertych with Grzegorz Schetynathen the head of the Civic Platform regarding the possible start in the parliamentary elections. Both stations have announced that they will soon publish subsequent fragments from the recordings.

“Gazeta Wyborcza” noticed that the fact that these talks were conducted using online messengers and their record is only possible using a spy system, shows that the tapes, published now by right -wing media, were registered with the help of Pegasus – illegal spy software, in which the services were used in the times of rule PIS.

In 2022, a journalist from the service assured that these recordings were “commissioned”. As “GW” reminds, CBA representatives also provided the liquidation of recordings before the Sejm Commission for Special Services. Roman Giertych was under surveillance by the CBA as part of the investigation in the Polnord company. In 2025, however, the investigation was discontinued, and Giertych, despite the efforts of Law and Justice, did not hear allegations in this matter. Lack of evidence of a crime means that the recordings should be deleted.
