Rookie California police officer pulls man from automotive that burst in flames

A daring rescue was caught on digicam Sunday when a rookie police officer pulled a person from a burning automotive on a California freeway.

The video, posted to the San Jose Police Department’s Twitter page, exhibits flames capturing up from the automobile on Freeway 101 when Officer Pedro Garcia ran to assist.

Officer Garcia spoke with native station KRON about his heroic actions, who reviews Garcia is simply eight months out of the police academy.

“Some guys had been yelling. I requested them if, ‘Is there somebody contained in the automobile?’ they responded with ‘sure’ so I simply instantly ran in direction of the automobile.
