– On the premises of one of the properties in the Rozogi commune (Warmia-Masuria) we have an armed man and a victim who is probably dead – said the spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Olsztyn, Daniel Brodowski. He added that the police had surrounded the area and that negotiations with the suspect were underway. In an evening interview with tvn24.pl before 10 p.m., the spokesman stated that the situation had not changed.
– At 2 p.m., the police were notified that a body had been found on a property in the Rozogi commune. Our officers are working on the scene – Rafał Jackowski from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Olsztyn informed tvn24.pl on Friday.
Later, Senior Sergeant Emilia Pławska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Szczytno, said that “residents can remain calm, their safety is not at risk”. – We know who the perpetrator is, we know where he is. Actions are underway to arrest him – she added.
