The prosecutor’s office charged the driver who fatally hit a woman crossing the pedestrian crossing with her granddaughter. Investigators determined that the suspect’s car was out of order and did not pass technical inspection. The man – as the prosecutor’s office said – exceeded the speed, lost control of the car, hit the island, and later the 70-year-old.
The incident happened on Thursday (June 15) morning. A 70-year-old woman who was crossing the road with her granddaughter in Roztoka in Mazovia was hit by a Skoda driver. Firefighters attempted to resuscitate the victim, and an air ambulance landed at the scene. The woman’s life could not be saved. Nothing happened to the girl.
