The Interfax agency announced that Russia has deployed four Su-25 attack aircraft stationed at an air base in Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan, which will participate in the maneuvers.

The announced exercises are related to the unstable situation in the region. After the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, Russia is concerned about the situation in its former republics. This is one of the reasons why the Taliban were invited to talks in Moscow. It is still unclear whether they will arrive – added the daily.
