The Su-30 fighter crashed in the Russian Königsberg region, an exclave bordering Poland, the Meduza portal reported, citing the Russian Defense Ministry. The crew died, and the cause of the accident was supposed to be a technical failure.
The Meduza service reported that the plane was performing a training flight. Preliminary findings indicate that the cause of the accident was a technical failure. The machine was not armed and fell in uninhabited territory – handed over. The crew of the plane died.
According to the Ukrainska Pravda portal, just before the crash the plane was supposed to fly down, then there was an explosion in the air.
The Su-30 is a Russian multi-role fighter, used, among others, in the invasion of Ukraine.
