139 anglers got stuck on the rollers drifting on the sea in the east of Russia. Emergency services have announced that the whole group was saved, although not everyone was happy about it.
The incident occurred on Wednesday in the Russian Sachale region in the east of the country. A group of fishermen got stuck on the Ochocki Krzecie chubby on the sea. As reported by the Russian Ministry of Civil Defense, extraordinary situations and the liquidation of the effects of natural disasters, Kra formed as a result of a 10 -meter -wide rupture of the ice pane and its break from the island of Sakhalin.
Rescue operation in Russia
Initially, it was reported that there were about 300 people in the group. Ultimately, the services reported that all 139 anglers were saved. With the help of a helicopter and a ship, the whole group was brought ashore. The recordings from the rescue operation can be seen that a strong wind was blowing on the spot.
Winters in this region are long, frosty and snowy. Usually, the fishing season under ice falls there from the beginning of February to April. It is not known, however, why so many anglers gathered in this particular place and at the same time.
What's more, as CNN writes, some of the anglers were not satisfied with the view of the emergency services. The ministry reported that some did not want to leave the place where they found themselves. The station writes that on the island of Sachalin, the largest island of Russia, there was already a situation in which someone was imprisoned to the heap. Last year, 80 anglers needed help.
