I am being informed about the circumstances of the attack in Moscow and the possible consequences for the situation in the region and the country's security, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Friday evening. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, said in “Fakty po Faktach” that Poland condemns terrorism in any form. The head of the National Security Bureau, Jacek Siewiera, said that President Andrzej Duda is kept informed about the course of events in Russia.

A vote on Friday attack in the concert hall representatives of the Polish authorities took part in Krasnogorsk near Moscow.

In the evening, Prime Minister Donald Tusk posted a short entry on social media. “The heads of the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Interior and Administration and the coordinator of the secret services keep me updated on the circumstances of the attack in Moscow and the possible consequences for the situation in the region and the security of the country,” the head of government wrote on the X platform.

Shortly afterwards, an entry appeared on the profile of the head of the Ministry of National Defense. “In connection with the shooting near Moscow, we are constantly monitoring the situation. I am in contact with the General Staff of the Polish Army, all services and our allies,” said Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. “We are analyzing this situation in terms of its possible impact on Poland's security,” he added.

Sikorski: It's not worth speculating because we don't have enough data yet

Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs commented on the matter in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24. Radosław Sikorski said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has no information about the incident yet. – But Poland, of course, condemns terrorism in any form – he noted.

The minister was asked about the consequences of the shooting in the context of the declaration of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who said that the “special military operation” turned into a war and the “collective West” became “its participant on the side of Ukraine.” So far, the Russian authorities have called the war in Ukraine a “special military operation.”

– I don't think it's worth speculating because we don't have enough data yet. As for Minister Peskov's statement that this is a war – they realized it after two years – it only makes me wonder: will the Russian authorities release from prison those who have already said that this is a war and not a military operation? – He was asking.

Siewiera: the president kept informed on an ongoing basis

The head of the National Security Bureau, Jacek Siewiera, wrote on Friday evening on the X platform that President Andrzej Duda “is kept informed about the course of events in the territory of the Russian Federation and its possible consequences for the security of Polish citizens.”

“I would like to thank the Minister of National Defense, national and partner services for their cooperation in building the state's situational awareness,” he added.
