Asked about the decision of the US State Department, which he recommended to families on Sunday American staff at the embassy in Kiev leaving the country and allowing technicians to leave Ukraine, Borrell said that the EU is aware of “what is the level of threats and how to react”.
He also appealed for avoiding nervous movements. – The exchange of views with Antony Blinken was very useful in determining the way forward and very close coordination. I think there is full agreement among us among the Member States that this preventive measure is not necessary, he added.
