The head of the German Federal Intelligence Service (BND), Bruno Kahl, says that Russia has not yet made a decision to attack Ukraine. He also expressed doubts as to the durability of the alliance between Russia and China, because – in his opinion – the interests of the two countries were in fact too different.

– I believe that the decision to attack has not yet been made. A crisis can develop in a thousand ways – said the boss German Federal Intelligence Service (BND) Bruno Kahl and explained that he meant, among other things, destabilizing the government in Kiev or supporting separatists in Donbas and shifting the demarcation line in this region to the west.

Kahl declined to comment on whether and what sanctions should be applied against Russia in the event of an attack, but endorsed Berlin’s approach of keeping Moscow ignorant of possible moves. – That’s what he does Putin – paid attention.
