President Vladimir Putin is on an election tour throughout the country. He flew to Chukotka on Wednesday. This is his first trip in 2024 and the first visit to this region during his presidency, media in Moscow reported.

The independent Russian website Meduza wrote that Putin is on a tour around the country before March elections presidential.

On Wednesday, the president arrived in the city of Anadyr, the capital of the Chukchi Autonomous Okrug. He visited this place for the first time in 24 years, Meduza reported.
