Following Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent statement that Israel was refraining from providing military aid to Kiev for fear that these weapons might fall into Iran’s hands, Mikhailo Podolyak on Wednesday tried to allay those fears by arguing that such a risk did not exist.

– Everything related to heavy weapons is documented and monitored. Therefore, there is no risk that Iran will receive something produced in Israel from what goes to Ukraine, assured the adviser to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with the Israeli portal i24.

According to the Ukrainian politician, Iran receives large-scale assistance from Russia, which includes defense systems, airspace surveillance systems, S300 and S400 systems and some other technologies, he explained. “This means that Iran already has a partner that can provide it with large-scale military technology,” Podolak noted.
