Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Sergei Lavrov informed Marco Rubio about Moscow's readiness for conversations

Minister of Foreign Affairs Russia Sergei Lavrov declared to the American state secretary Marco Rubio that Moscow is ready for “working together” with Washington in order to “eliminate the long -term causes of the conflict in Ukraine,” said Reuters, citing the communication of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs published on Thursday.

The Reuters agency reminds that Russia is constantly repeating that its conditions for the end of the war include, among others, Ukraine's recognition by Ukraine's annexation of its four circuits and abandoning any intentions to join NATO. Kiev firmly rejects such conditions and recognizes the devotion of the occupied territories for the “red line”, which he will not exceed in any peace negotiations.

Earlier, the US Department of State said that Rubio informed Ławrowa by phone about the course of Thursday talks in Paris, in which representatives of the USA, Ukraine, Great Britain, Germany and France.

“He gave his Russian equivalent the same message that the US delegation gave the Ukrainian delegation and our European allies in Paris: President Trump and the United States want to end this war and presented to all parties an outline of stable and long -lasting peace” – the spokeswoman of the Department of State Department of Tammy Bruce was described in the announcement
