Ryanair. Polish – Albania flights – Irish airline will launch flights from Krakow and Modlin to Tirana

Ryanair announced on Friday the launch of flights from Poland to Albania. “Albania thus becomes the 37th country in the network,” announced the Irish airline. Flights will be operated in the winter from Warsaw-Modlin and Kraków-Balice airports. This Sunday, connections to the capital of Albania from the Warsaw-Radom airport, operated by LOT Polish Airlines, are to start.

Ryanair will fly between Polish ports and Tirana Airport from October 23 to March 24, 2024. Next Sunday, June 11, the inauguration of flights to Tirana from Warsaw-Radom airport is planned. Flights from the south of Mazovia will be operated by LOT Polish Airlines.

Hungarian Wizz Air also launches new connections in the Polish sky. On Wednesday, flights from the Rzeszów-Jasionka airport to Rome started.

According to the latest available data from the Civil Aviation Authority, Ryanair is the most popular airline in Poland. In 2022, over 13.3 million passengers of the Irish carrier were served at Polish airports in domestic and international scheduled traffic.

They took second place LOT Polish Airlines – nearly 8.5 million passengers, and the third Wizz Air – 7.6 million passengers. Just behind the podium was the German Lufthansa – over 1.5 million passengers. Also ranked among the top KLM airlines – over 637.5 thousand passengers, and Norwegian Air Shuttle – over 466.4 thousand.
