The Tax Office in Rybnik in the Silesian Voivodeship put up for auction a set of women’s and men’s jewelry. “The collection includes nearly 1,000 pieces of earrings, rings, pendants, chains and bracelets,” we read in the release. The value of all auctioned items is PLN 45,000, but the starting price is half of this amount.
The owner of the jewelry is a natural person who sold this type of products. “The Tax Office in Rybnik is like Ali Baba’s treasury” – wrote the Silesian branch of the National Tax Administration on its website.
– This is the second approach to selling movable property. On the first attempt, no one volunteered. In the second auction, the starting price is PLN 22.5 thousand, i.e. half of the value of the subject of the proceedings, which was valued at PLN 45,000 – said Michał Kasprzak from the Chamber of Tax Administration in Katowice.
The auction is to take place on October 24 at 12 noon at the headquarters of the Tax Office in Rybnik. The movable property will be available for viewing only on the day of the auction from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The condition for participating in the auction is the payment of a deposit of PLN 4.5 thousand. zloty.
Not only jewelry
– Jewelry is a standard auction item, but tax offices also sell less obvious movable property – Kasprzak pointed out.
As he recalled, recent proceedings concerned, among others, knitting machines, pad machines (pad printing machine), jet ski, automatic welding machine, plasma cutter and computer diagnostic analyzer for measuring vibrations of rotating machines. – The following items were also auctioned: a hydraulic press, a funeral car, endoscopic tools, a flower cooling cabinet and an excavator – he added.
In the first quarter of this year National Tax Administration put the area of the former Kmicic brewery in Częstochowa up for sale.
