In Ryczyca near Siedlce, a fire and several explosions occurred in a barn where hazardous materials were stored, probably also from the Second World War. There could have been one person inside, but firefighters say the ashes will only be searched after the police and sappers arrive at the scene.
In Ryczyca (Masovian Voivodeship) a wooden barn caught fire on Sunday. According to Junior Brigadier PaweÅ‚ Kulicki, press officer of the Municipal Commander of the State Fire Service in Siedlce, firewood, explosives, probably also from World War II, and LPG cylinders were stored there. – There were several explosions. The building burned down, and the remains are still smoking – he reports.
According to unofficial information, there could have been one person inside. Firefighters, however, have stated that the ashes can only be searched after the police and sappers arrive at the scene.
There are about 10 fire brigades and about 50 firefighters working on site.
