Television producer Ryszard Sibilski died at the age of 69. He was the husband of singer Ewa Bem, who announced his death on social media. In the past, he co-founded the TVN station and sat on the supervisory board of the ITI Group. He also managed Endemol Shine Polska.
“Today, January 17, 2025, I am full of misery. To the brim. My Ryszard Dindi Sibilski, my Beautiful Husband and the meaning of my life, although he fought so bravely, he had to lose. For me, he won because he left me believing in love at first sight until the end. See you soon, Dindik,” Ewa Bem wrote in the post.
Ryszard Sibilski was an Africanist and economist by education. For years he was a translator and traveled around Africa. After returning to Poland, he started working for the Polish Jazz Association, and in the 1990s he co-founded the TVN station. In the years 2002-2006 he sat on the supervisory board of the ITI Group, which then owned the station. For the next 18 years, he managed Endemol Shine Polska, responsible for, among others, for producing such programs as “Big Brother”, “MasterChef” and “Your Face Sounds Familiar”. He left the company in November 2023.
From February 2024, he joined Jake Vision – producer of, among others, “Dancing with the Stars”, “Millionaires” and “Ninja Warrior” – where he was the managing director. Sibilski was also a member of the Polish Film Academy.

“A television legend, a fantastic guy, a devoted husband, my beloved Dad. The disease took him away from us unexpectedly, and there was still so much ahead of us. I won't say rest in peace, because I know, Dad, it's not your style. If there's something up there If you can act, you're definitely setting everything up there,” wrote the daughter of Ewa Bem and Ryszard Sibilski, Gabriela, on social media.
He also said goodbye to Sibilski on social media, among others. TV presenter and journalist Krzysztof Ibisz. “Ryszard Sibilski, one of the most beautiful people in the television industry, has passed away. We had known each other since the late 1990s, when TVN was founded, then for the next 25 years at Polsat we worked on a large number of programs. A charming man, traveler, translator, producer, media manager, human being. “of great class,” he wrote.
The producer, director and screenwriter of television programs, Rinke Rooyens, who worked with Sibilski, also mentioned the producer. “You were not only a visionary in the field of television production, but also a true soul with a good heart and noble intentions. (…) Although your show has come to an end, the beautiful melody of your visuals, creativity and spirit will forever resonate with us. Your legacy will be continue to inspire and uplift those who were lucky enough to know you,” he wrote.
