Deputy Speaker of the Sejm and PiS club leader Ryszard Terlecki on Tuesday received a positive test for the presence of coronavirus – reports the Polish Press Agency, citing sources in Law and Justice.

The RMF FM radio was the first to give this information. According to the radio, the remaining deputy marshals and the Marshal of the Sejm, Elżbieta Witek, are healthy.


Coronavirus among MPs

Coronavirus in Poland

On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health said research has confirmed 16,590 new coronavirus infections. 282 people with COVID-19 died – the most in the fourth wave of the pandemic. A week ago, on November 9, there were 13,644 new cases and 220 deaths, with over 76,000. performed tests. In turn, a year ago, on November 16, over 35.1 thousand. tests, 20,816 new infected were detected, 143 people died.

In total, since March 4 last year, when the first SARS-CoV-2 infection was detected in Poland, 3,230,634 cases were confirmed. 79,161 people of COVID-19 have died.
