Police officers from Lubuskie stopped a Lamborghini driver on the A2 motorway near Rzepin (Lubuskie), who was traveling much faster than the maximum speed allowed. The 34-year-old explained to the officers that he was only going to return the car to his boss to Germany. The haste cost him dearly.
On Tuesday before 11 am on the A2 motorway near Rzepin, the police noticed a sports car that was driving in the left lane towards the border.
– The driver was moving at a very high speed, so the traffic police decided to measure it. After a few moments, it turned out that the sports lamborghini was running at a speed of 224 kilometers per hour – reports sub-inspector Marcin Maludy, spokesman for the Provincial Police Headquarters in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
Interrupted ride
After stopping, it turned out that a 34-year-old resident of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship was behind the wheel. According to Maludy, the man explained to the officers that “he was just going to leave the car to his boss German“.
The speed with which he was moving could not remain unnoticed. Policemen punished the driver with a fine of PLN 2,500 and 15 penalty points, according to Maludy.
