At the beginning of the year, a 72-year-old inhabitant of Rzeszów found an advertisement for online investments on the Internet. After completing the application form, the senior woman was contacted by a man to present his offer. At his insistence, the woman opened an account on a special investment platform and deposited PLN 1,200. She checked her account balance every day and watched the profits made. After about two months, she decided to withdraw the money, but the “broker” persuaded her to set up a wallet on the cryptocurrency exchange. She also paid almost $5,000. dollars in tax for earned profits, almost 9 thousand. dollars for the license and 4 thousand. dollars to your Wise account.
