A traffic police car caught fire on the S17 route in the Otwock district. The fire started in the engine compartment and was quickly extinguished. No one was injured.
The incident occurred on Wednesday morning on the S17 route, on the Warsaw-Garwolin section, near the town of Lubice. Our reporter, Tomasz ZieliĆski, learned that a police car had burned there.
The information was confirmed by the police. – It’s a police car of the Road Traffic Department. It was most likely spontaneous combustion, the fire took place in the engine compartment – said Jacek WiĆniewski from the Warsaw Police Headquarters. He added that the fire was extinguished by the police and then extinguished by the fire brigade.
We also asked the fire brigade about the incident. – The fire was extinguished by the vehicle users before our arrival. The fire brigade extinguished it and secured the scene. The activities have already been completed, the car is standing on the roadside and waiting to be picked up by a tow truck. There were no injuries in the incident, said Maciej Ćodygowski from the fire brigade in Otwock.
