On Thursday morning, in the commune of Poświętne near Wołomin, a car crashed into a roadside tree. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle.
The incident took place on a poviat road between the towns of Poświętne and Nowe Ręczaje. The 23-year-old driver of a passenger car, for unknown reasons, left the roadway and hit a tree. She was traveling alone. After arriving at the scene, firefighters made access to the victim and handed her over to the medical rescue team. The woman was conscious, said Jan Sobków, press officer of the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Wołomin.
As reported by tvnwarszawa.pl reporter Mateusz Szmelter, the car is seriously damaged. – As a result of the impact, the engine fell out of the compartment. It lies several dozen meters away, our reporter reported. There are obstacles in place. Shuttle traffic has been introduced.
