The “Safe 2 percent loan” program was introduced by the Law and Justice government. The Minister of Development and Technology, Krzysztof Hetman, in response to a parliamentary interpellation, said that – according to the data provided by BGK as of January this year. – 64,089 safe loans were granted.

“According to the information sent by the banks participating in the program, received from BGK, as part of the granted safe 2 percent loans, according to which the number of safe 2 percent loan agreements concluded by foreigners is 3,044 (with 64,089 loans granted)including loan agreements concluded by at least one foreigner and agreements concluded jointly by persons of different nationalities (e.g. Poland and Belarus, Belarus and Belarus or Belarus and Great Britain),” said Minister Hetman.

New housing program

Let us remind you that due to the exceedance of the assumed expenses under the “Safe 2 percent loan” program, the acceptance of new applications by banks was suspended at the beginning of January this year.
