Already on Saturday National Stadium The FAME 22 gala will take place in Warsaw. fights the former world boxing champion in the cruiserweight and light heavyweight divisions of the evening – Thomas Adamek – he will fight with Kasjusz “Don Cassio” Życiński.
Życiński is a celebrity who, until a certain point, was known only from television programs. In 2019, he began his career in freak fights, referring to his sports past. Życiński used to train boxing, and in 2014 he became a bronze medalist of the championship Polish.
However, few give him a chance against Adamek. The fight will take place in a cage over four rounds. Życiński's defeat was predicted by trainer Zbigniew Raubo, who expressed his opinion in the “Super Express” program.
– Adamek will be 50, 60, 70, 80 years old, and he will still win against Kasjusz. And that's it. Tomek is better in every aspect. Kasjo was a potential boxer, later he changed his profession to a freak – said Raubo.
Saleta: The fight will be even
– In 30 years, Tomek will also be able to swing his paws, and Kasjo, unfortunately… He's a cool guy, I like him, I helped him. This is a sporting gap, you can't make up for it. If there was a two-round fight and Kasjo put everything on the line, then maybe, maybe Tomek would have missed a beat and gotten hit in the head. But Tomek won't let himself be missed – he added.
Przemysław Saleta, sitting in the studio, had a different opinion. – I think this fight will be even. Tomek is old, his advantage has always been speed, and with age you lose this speed. If Tomek didn't curse reality and keep repeating that he is fast, he is not that fast. I can't say who will win. Honestly, I also think that not much will happen – he said.
– It's happening in a cage, so even if Tomek wanted to speed up the pace, it's not easy to corner someone in a cage, like in a ring. I'm afraid that if it's a close fight, who knows, maybe it'll go to Kasjo's advantage. In a close fight, it might go to Don Kasjo's advantage, because he's a freak fighter and he's one of the creators of all this – he added.
