Samsung decided to go a step further and introduce AI to a completely new level. Here are the features that have been introduced in the new software.
No more language barriers – a service that translates calls and texts
Imagine that you call a foreign hotel and talk freely, even though the receptionist does not know a word of Polish. That's what it offers Live Translate – real-time conversation translation system. You see the text of the conversation in both languages ​​on the screen, and the AI ​​ensures smooth communication. First, only 13 languages ​​were added, but over the course of the update, there are more and more of them – and this time we were not left out, because Polish is among them.
The system also translates messages in popular instant messengers and texts on websites. Importantly, language packs can be downloaded directly in the phone settings.
Photographer's assistant
Galaxy AI introduces advanced photo editing capabilities. We can remove unwanted objects from the frame, a artificial intelligence will fill the created space with the background itself – as if the deleted item was never there. The system also allows you to move objects between photos or add them to messages.
Search in a new dimension
Circle to Search feature, created in collaboration with Googleworks like a magic magnifying glass. Just hold down the Home button and circle any object on the screen – whether it's a photo, a website or even a video. The phone will quickly search for information about it.
Your personal text assistant is always at hand
Galaxy AI also works as a personal editor – shortens complex texts to the most important points, adapts the writing style to the situation (e.g. from casual to business) and catches linguistic mistakes. This will be especially useful when we are writing an important message in a hurry or we want to summarize some text to the most important ones information.
Which phones already have this?
First, Galaxy AI appeared in the latest S24 series. Now Samsung is systematically adding these features to older models. Just install the latest One UI 6.1 update to enjoy AI on S23, S23 FE, Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 foldables, and even Tab S9 tablets.
