Sanok. Teacher and trainer with charge of rape and peeping of underage girls. The process is starting

The trial of Ryszard D. – a physical education teacher at one of the primary schools in Sanok and a trainer at the local athletics club is starting before the District Court in Krosno (Podkarpackie). The man was accused, among others, of raping a girl under the age of 15 and consolidating the image of a naked 12-year-old without her consent. According to investigators, there are a total of 16 girls.

The investigation in this case was conducted by the District Prosecutor's Office in Sanok. She charged the man from Article 197 Paragraph 3 point 2 of the Penal Code, 197 parish 2 of the Penal Code and art. 191a parish 1 kk.

The first concerns the rape of a minor under 15, the second to bring or surrender to a “different sexual activity”, the third to consolidate the image of a naked person without his consent.

§ 1. Whoever, with violence, unlawful threat or deceit, leads another person to sexual intercourse, shall be subject to the penalty of deprivation of liberty from 2 to 12 years. Another person – towards a minor under 15 years of age – in the face of the initial, descendant, adopted, adopting, brother or sister, is subject to the penalty of imprisonment for a time not shorter in 3 years.

§ 1

The trial in this matter – due to the good of the minors – is to take place excluding openness.

He was supposed to watch the students

As at the beginning of March 2024, the man informed, the man was arrested in connection with the situation in September 2023. He was then supposed to make two 12-year-old players of the athletics club in which he was a coach, try on new sports outfits on bare body. One of the girls in the locker room found a cardboard box with a hole, and in her camera. She informed her mother about it and the police.

The man was detained only a few months after this event. Time from September, when the situation was described, until March, when the 57 -year -old was detained – as explained in an interview with tvn24.pl prosecutor Wiktoria Domaradzka, a clerk of the case from the District Prosecutor's Office in Sanok, was needed by investigators to collect evidence, which allowed the man charged.

In the investigation, the suspect exercised the right to refuse to explain in the case.

Suspended teacher, club head “in shock”

The presidents of the club, in which the detained 57-year-old was a coach, in a written statement issued immediately after the man's detention assured that they did not know anything about “information that flows”. “They are also a great shock for us and our community,” they commented.

The headmaster of the school, in which a detained teacher taught physical education, also referred to the case in a short statement.

“(…) I am shocked by the situation. On my part, actions were taken to suspend the teacher in the performance of duties until the case is clarified,” he said.

Director punished with reprimand

The City Hall in Sanok, which is an organ for the primary school in which he taught the detained teacher, submitted to the disciplinary spokesperson for teachers at the Podkarpackie Voivode to initiate explanatory proceedings against the headmaster of the school, who – as local media inform – had to not respond to signals about the inappropriate behavior of the wuefist, which the students were to report.

The explanatory proceedings, as in an interview with tvn24.pl, was given by Katarzyna Kwiatanowska-Rodkiewicz, a spokeswoman for the Board of Education in Rzeszów, ended with the discretion of the director's fault.

– The director did not provide safety for students despite his knowledge that the teacher behaves in an undesirable way and did not take effective disciplinary activities in relation to the teacher, nor did he report this fact to the appropriate law enforcement authorities. He also did not ensure safety of students, despite the fact that the teacher recorded their image without their consent and knowledge, he did not take effective actions in relation to the teacher – he did not report this fact to the right authorities and did not suspend the teacher in his duties, which the schoolgirls exposed in danger – Katarzyna Kwiatanowska -Rodkiewicz told us

In an interview with tvn24.pl, a spokeswoman also announced that the director, for failure to do his official duties in connection with the performance of his function, “was punished with a warning.”

The man in July 2024 resigned from the director's function. According to the local Esanok.pl portal, as a reason he gave a poor health preventing an educational institution.
