On Tuesday in Riyadh will meet high -ranking representatives of the US and Russia authorities. The talks in the capital of Saudi Arabia will be attended by, among others, bosses of diplomacy of these countries, Marco Rubio and Sergei Lavrov. It is expected that the main topic will be the war of Russia with Ukraine. The authorities in Kiev, like the European Union, did not receive an invitation to participate in these negotiations.
On Tuesday in Riyadh, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Lavrov. This will be the first meeting of representatives of both countries at such a high level since the full -size Russian assault to Ukraine almost three years ago.
Talks are to focus on the reconstruction of bilateral relations and preparations for possible peaceful negotiations.

The authorities in Kiev, like the European Union, did not receive an invitation to participate in these negotiations. The President of Ukraine Wołodymyr Zelanski, who stayed in the United Arab Emirates on Monday, is expected on Wednesday – independently – in Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, the Secretary of State of the US met on Monday in Riyadh with the successor of the Saudi Arabia throne and the actual ruler of this state Mohammed Ibn Salman – said the State Press Agency SPA.
Among the topics of conversations was, among others, the situation in the Gaza Strip – the Department of State informed.
During the meeting, bilateral relations and recent events in the region and in the world were discussed, as well as the efforts of both countries in favor of security and stability – the SPA was transferred in a press release.
