Ukrainian peace formula
The 10-point Ukrainian peace formula provides for the punishment of those responsible for war crimes, the withdrawal of all Russian troops from the territory Ukraine, the restoration of the country’s territorial integrity and the release of all prisoners of war and deportees. The plan also includes a postulate to prevent the destruction of the natural environment, as well as energy, food and nuclear security. Zelensky presented this proposal on November 15, 2022 during a virtual speech to the leaders G20.
The Ukrainian side and commentators emphasized the importance of the representative’s participation in the meeting in Jeddah China. Beijing was already invited to participate in the previous meeting in this formula in Copenhagen in June this year, but did not send a representative there.
