On September 27, on TVN24, Minister Izabela Leszczyna said that she was “not waiting for the health insurance premium to be reduced.” The changes to the rules proposed by the Ministry of Health include the abolition of the calculation of contributions on transferable fixed assets and new regulations on the level of contributions paid by entrepreneurs.
Sawicki reacted to Leszczyna's words. He shared good advice for members of the government
In a conversation with a journalist, an MP from the Polish People's Party commented that “Ms. Leszczyna is following the old assumption of Jan Wincenty Rostowski, there is no money and there will be no money.” – I have good advice for all members of my government. Let's start learning how to earn money and multiply it, not just save – added Sawicki.
The politician also said that he listened to the morning interview with the minister and was “very surprised” by it. – In fact, Minister Leszczyna should not comment on finance matters, let her deal with the health service. There is really a lot to do there – concluded the PSL MP.
Confusion about health insurance premiums. The government can't reach an agreement
According to Leszczyna, the ruling coalition has still not reached an agreement on the health insurance premium. – At the moment, we neither have a common project that would be accepted by all coalition parties, nor, especially in the context of floods, do we have the fiscal space to do something more – added the head of the Ministry of Health.
– As the Minister of Health, I am not waiting for health insurance premiums to be reduced. I think that entrepreneurs know how to count money and understand that we do what we can do, and we will also do what we can do in the coming years, Leszczyna summed up in the interview.
