The Polish national team is preparing for the last matches this year. As part of the Nations League, our team will face Portugal in Porto (November 15) and Scotland (November 18) in Warsaw. Coach Michał Probierz, as usual, surprised us a bit with his call-ups, including: gave a chance to two debutants. These are the young stars of Lech Poznań – Antoni Kozubal and Michał Gurgul.
This is how the Polish national team welcomed Gurgul and Kozubal. Suddenly Bereszyński interjected
Both of them have been impressive for the top league leader since the beginning of the season, but choosing them was not obvious. Kozubal is only 20 years old, and Gurgul – 18, and may become the first player born in 2006 to play in the Polish national team. It's no wonder that as newcomers they attract a lot of attention. In the vlog from the national team training camp on the Łączy nas kuli channel, we could see how they greeted their colleagues.
The recording shows the men entering the hotel and giving high fives with more experienced staff members, including: Piotr Zieliński, Krzysztof Piątek and Łukasz Skorupski. Later, Paweł Kosedowski, the technical manager of the national team, had a short conversation with Kozubal. – Did you come yourself? – he asked. NO. There was “Gurgi”, “Mroziu”… (Michał Gurgul and Bartosz Mrozek – editor's note) – replied the footballer. – He was left alone in the room – the producer interjected.
This is how they welcomed the debutant. They immediately got down to the muddy topic. “Run”
Then Bartosz Bereszyński, who was watching them, added his two cents. – You know that yesterday… – he stopped. The Sampdoria defender had in mind what Kozubal did in Sunday's Lech-Legia match. He scored one goal and contributed to an impressive 5-2 victory. – Come on, let's not return to this topic, okay – replied Kosedowski. – Pawka is an old Legionnaire – explained the producer. – No, we respect it – added the technical manager. – You say that because there is a camera. We are defending you with this camera – the producer laughed to Kozubal. – If you are alone and you see him, run away – Bereszyński joked.
The Portugal – Poland match will take place on Friday at 20:45. We invite you to follow the live coverage on our website Sport.pl and in the Sport.pl LIVE mobile application.
