The report had been obtained late Thursday night, so the varsity contacted the authorities and determined that college students would use distant studying on Friday for security.

“We instantly notified our safety division and the Albany Police Division,” the varsity wrote in an announcement to Fox Information. “Vincent Thompson and Matt Fargione, the district’s director and assistant director of protected colleges and violence prevention, labored with police all through the evening with the intention to proceed to analyze the menace.”

The college confirmed that the investigation continued into Friday morning.
