Seattle cops filmed beating man on floor with batons at a bus cease | US Information

Two cops within the US are below investigation after they had been filmed beating a person on the bottom with their batons at a bus cease.

Footage posted on-line confirmed the officers repeatedly hitting the person with truncheons in Seattle final Friday.

Through the 40-second clip, one of many officers appeared to seize the person’s hair earlier than he places a knee on the again of his head to pin him down.

The video doesn’t present what occurred earlier than the officers began beating the person.

Seattle’s Workplace of Police Accountability, a metropolis watchdog, is investigating the incident.

The video was recorded by Deeanthony Marcell as he was passing by on a bus.

He instructed NBC Information affiliate KING 5-TV: “I do not know what he did, he may need finished one thing I do not know what he did, however that is not okay – there’s two of you guys.

The investigation comes at a tough time for the police division.
