Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMWM) issued first and second degree meteorological warnings on a three-point, ascending scale.
IMWM first degree warnings – storms
First degree warnings before storms concern the following voivodeships:
- Podlaskiethe eastern half of the region;
- Lublin; counties located in the east.
Thunderstorms are forecast there, which in places will be accompanied by heavy rainfall from 20 to 35 liters per square meter and wind gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour. Locally, hail will appear. The warnings will be valid until midnight on Saturday.

IMGW warns of heat. Orange warnings apply in the following provinces:
