In recent years, Pogoń Grodzisk Mazowiecki has played at lower levels of play. But now it has a great entry into level II Leagues. The first six matches ended in victories for Pogoń, and last weekend the points were divided in match with Wieczysta (1:1). Despite this, the team from Grodzisk Mazowiecki remains the leader of the 2nd league. Much of the credit for this goes to Marcin Sasal, who has been working in Pogoń since last summer. The previous season ended with promotion to the central level.

After the match with Wieczysta, Marcin Sasal spoke about the situation that the team encountered during preparations for the match. – On Friday, we trained at Legion Training Center in Książenice, because there is an agreement between the club and the Grodzisk commune. It's a pity that this agreement is not longer, because it is only the second time this year that we train there, and it is already September – began the coach of Pogoń Grodzisk Mazowiecki.
– There was also a “cool” situation, that in the middle of our training session Marcin Muszyński (Legia's reserve manager – ed.) came and told us that Legia's coach, Mr. Goncalo Feio, did not want us to train on the pitch next to his, so in the middle of the training session we had to move to the next one. I think that if the situation was the other way round, that Sasal would call that he did not want to train… No, I would not call, but it is simply unbelievable what is allowed to someone here in our country – added Sasal.
