The problem is that the Republic of Poland has always had problems with beautiful women over the centuries, said KO MP Artur Łącki from the parliamentary rostrum to Julia Przyłębska. – Your speech certainly did not meet the norms of a parliamentary speech. This is the most delicate assessment, said Piotr Zgorzelski, the deputy speaker of the Sejm, who chaired the meeting.

On Wednesday evening, members of the Sejm dealt with the issue of information on significant problems arising from the activities and jurisprudence of the Constitutional Tribunal in 2022.

– The problem is that the Republic of Poland has always had problems with beautiful women over the centuries, just to mention Maria Teresa, or the Empress Tsarina, Catherine the Great, Mr. Suski – said Łącki, referring to the situation involving PiS MP during the meeting of the investigative committee for Amber Gold in 2016.

There were outraged voices from PiS MPs present in the meeting room.

– Madam President, you have become such a tsarina of our justice system, the Constitutional Tribunal. Such a tsarina who destroyed it all from the inside and caused Poles to have no support in this institution and cannot look into the future clearly, that all judges will defend their rights – continued Łącki. – And this is the question: are you proud of the fact that you can be called the tsarina of the Polish Constitutional Tribunal? – added.

The deputy speaker of the Sejm, who chaired the meeting, also commented on the statement of the KO MP Piotr Zgorzelski.

– Mr. MP, your speech certainly did not meet the standards of a parliamentary speech. This is the most delicate assessment – commented Deputy Marshal Zgorzelski on the MP’s speech.
