On Wednesday evening, the Sejm dismissed members of the commission investigating Russian influence, known as “lex Tusk”. The vote on this matter was preceded by a heated discussion, during which emotions rose several times.

During the preceding discussion voting on the dismissal of members of the “lex Tusk” commission among others, he spoke Mateusz Morawiecki. After he finished his speech PiS MPs they stood up and applauded the Prime Minister’s words.
After taking their seats in the government benches, the Speaker of the Sejm turned to Morawiecki Szymon Hołownia. – Thank you for strictly observing the time limit and allowing three minutes of your speech. We both know how precious time is. We have a lot in common, we both have been in office for a certain period of time and we know the names of our successors. My understanding with the Prime Minister is, one might say, complete, he said.

A few minutes later, PiS MP Dariusz Matecki became the main character, who got up from his seat and showed a photo on his tablet. Donald Tusk with Vladimir Putin.
– Mr. MP, I understand that you are acting as a billboard in the room – Hołownia said to Matecki.
In response, Jakub Rutnicki (KO) approached the PiS parliamentary benches and showed a photo on his tablet. Lech Kaczyński with Sergey Lavrov.
Tension of MPs, threat of exclusion from the meeting
Both Matecki and Rutnicki participated in the clash that occurred several dozen minutes later.
After his speech, Minister – member of the Council of Ministers Jacek Ozdoba tried to approach the parliamentary benches occupied by the Civic Coalition with a printed photo of Donald Tusk with Vladimir Putin. Rutnicki stood in his way and crumpled the piece of paper with the photo.
The discussing politicians were joined by Matecki, Bartosz Kownacki and Mariusz Gosek from the PiS club.
The Marshal of the Sejm repeatedly calmed the MPs and threatened to exclude them from the proceedings. After several dozen seconds, the MPs took their seats, Hołownia closed the discussion and moved on to the voting procedure.
