– Currently, there is no agreement in the coalition regarding the adoption pensions internships – Minister Gajewski told the daily, emphasizing that discussions on this issue will only start soon.

– Assuming the idea is well-received, internships will not become universal, but will cover a narrow group of people with very long service who are not entitled to a special pension, bridging pension or disability pension – informs “DGP”.

As he recalls, in January this year. the Council of Ministers received information on the development of various variants of the obligation to finance by Social Insurance Institution sickness benefits from the first day sick leave“It's a large and massive project,” the minister warns. “First, however, we want to reform medical certification in ZUS and the control of sick leave,” warns Gajewski in an interview with the newspaper.

What about voluntary ZUS and contract contributions?

According to him, the date of entry into force of the idea of mandatory social insurance contributions for every contract of mandate and contracts for specific work has not yet been set. “The reform will only cover contracts that are in conflict with other civil contracts or employment contracts and contracts for specific work,” the newspaper reports.

According to “DGP”, the minister does not like the idea of covering certain groups of individual entrepreneurs with voluntary social insurance. Such a proposal is included in the bill authored by PiS MPs“I don't understand why an employee should contribute to benefits for today's parents and grandparents, while businessmen, for some reason, shouldn't,” Gajewski emphasized in an interview with the newspaper.
