Changes in the Serbian government

According to Tuesday's decision by the Prime Minister of Serbia, Milosz Vuczevic, the duties of the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure will be temporarily performed by the current head of the Ministry of Public Investments, Darko Glišić.

Economy Minister Adrijana Mesarović will, in turn, take over the duties of Tomislav Momirovic, whose resignation from the position of Trade Minister was accepted by the Serbian parliament on Monday.

The Novi Sad railway station was officially opened in July 2024, after a three-year reconstruction, during which – in the previous government term – Momirović served as Minister of Construction. The Chinese consortium CRIC&CCCC was responsible for the renovation. The causes of the collapse of part of the roof are still being investigated by the prosecutor's office.
