A serving Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with greater than a dozen voyeurism offences.
Detective Inspector Neil Corbel, 40, from the Met’s Steady Policing Enchancment command, was charged on Wednesday 11 August with 19 counts of voyeurism within the Higher London, Manchester, and Brighton areas.
The offences are alleged to have taken place “throughout the jurisdiction of the Central Felony Courtroom” between January 2017 and February 2020.
He was not on responsibility on the time of the alleged offences.
The Met’s Directorate of Skilled Requirements has been knowledgeable and DI Corbel is at the moment suspended from responsibility.
He’ll seem at Westminster Magistrates’ Courtroom on Monday.
