There is just over a week left until the 33rd Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. This time, WOŚP will support the fight against childhood cancer by equipping children's wards, hospices, oncological surgery and neurosurgery centers, as well as pathology departments throughout the country with the latest equipment. All this to help the youngest patients defeat the extremely cruel killer of all types of cancer.
Świątek and WOŚP have a long-term cooperation
The campaign has already been supported by many famous people associated with sports. For example, Zbigniew Boniek put up for auction the opportunity to watch a Widzew Łódź match in the company of himself and the vice-president of Łódź, Adam Pustelnik. Iga Świątek, who has already supported WOŚP in their activities many times, also came to help.
Our best tennis player put up two unique items for the auction conducted via Allegro. The first is a large painting made of LEGO bricks (Świątek is an ambassador of this company), commemorating the Polish woman's triumph in Roland Garros 2024. It consists of over 13,800 bricks, and there are as many as 43 colors. The second item is a tennis racket with the signature of our representative, which she played last season. All proceeds from the auction will, of course, go to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. What amount are we talking about?
