Krzysztof Ibisz is a living legend of television. He has worked in Polish Television, TVN, and has been the face of Polsat for years. Now he focuses primarily on “hello here Polsat“, “Dancing with the Stars” and “Cash Fight”, which are starting this fall. It was the latter that he fought like a lion for to return to the air. Television hits often return to the air – just like in 2019, after almost 30 years, “Czar par” returned, which was hosted by Maciej Kurzajewski and Isabella Krzan. Years ago, the original format created by Bożena Walter in 1993-1996 was Krzysztof Ibisz and Hanna Dunowska.

Already in her third year of studies, she played in Piotr Andrejew's psychological fantasy drama “Czułe miejsca” and appeared in the series TVP Jan Łomnicki “Dom”. Unfortunately, at some point Dunowska fell ill with breast cancer. Although the disease had been in remission since 2012, after some time it relapsed. The presenter of the program “Czar par” died in 2019 at the age of 60.

On Sunday, August 25, a press breakfast was held in connection with the premiere of “halo tu polsat”, which Ibis is one of the hosts. Our reporter Karolina Sobocińska asked presenteras he recalls Hanna Dunowska.

Hania and I ran the first edition, we were partners. An incredibly nice person, warm, always very well prepared. I have the best memories

Krzysztof Ibisz recalls the “Czar par” craze. “The streets were empty”

Krzysztof Ibisz he started his career in the 80s, when Polish television was not as developed as it is today. The young presenter had the opportunity to host “Czar par”, and this opened the door to a great career.

It was maybe the first, or one of the first TV shows with such big prizes, I remember that there was such interest that 63 percent of viewers watched us, which is the same number that now watches the Polish national team at its best. The streets were empty. It will never happen again, because then there were two TV channels, now we have a hundred in Polish. It was wonderful. It was something that also marked my path, that is, hosting TV shows for many, many years.

– he said in an interview with Plotek.
