The trial for the death of 18-year-old Angelika. End? “He will never be there”
Eighteen red fibers allowed it to be proven in two courts that Karol F., and not his twin brother, was responsible for the death of 18-year-old Angelika Purgal. The convicted person is serving a six-year prison sentence. However, according to his defenders who filed a cassation appeal, there are still many doubts in the case. The Supreme Court dealt with it on Wednesday.
The eldest daughter has been gone for five years and five months. Katarzyna Purgal, dressed in black, makes sure that she is standing in front of the right room. On the docket posted under the letter C on the first floor of the Supreme Court, he finds the case of Karol F.
Today the man is 24 years old and is in prison. He is legally sentenced to six years in prison for causing an accident while drunk, in which 18-year-old Angelika, Katarzyna’s eldest daughter, died.
The woman stands in the corridor almost motionless, as do her two younger daughters. To make it to the hearing, they left their hometown near Gorlice (Lesser Poland Voivodeship) before six in the morning. The daughters had already agreed with their mother that they would not enter the courtroom. They don’t want to hear it. They only went so that Katarzyna Purgal would not be alone in the car.
