The president of x-kom commented on the whole situation. “Such stories happen extremely rarely here”
The day after Agnieszka's video was published, her material was included in an extensive post on the platform X The company's CEO Michał Świerczewski responded. “Ending cooperation is always a difficult situation, regardless of the circumstances. In this context, I understand Agnieszka's (the author of the TikTok video) emotions related to the whole matter. However, I must admit that I was surprised by their scale – considering how calmly the conversation (according to the assurances of the people participating in the meeting) went, to which Agnieszka refers,” Świerczewski wrote at the beginning of the statement.
“I know from the comments on the Internet that many people expect us to provide detailed explanations as to why we made this decision in the first place… Well, I am bound by the employer-employee confidentiality obligation, so I can't explain too much. However, what I can write about is the fact that Agnieszka's former position (and several other similar positions) was eliminated at the beginning of 2023 as part of a larger reorganization of the support department. (…) I know that our HR department was looking into various options, but unfortunately we were not able to offer Agnieszka newa position appropriate to her experience,” the president of x-kom explained.
“Such stories happen here very rarely or not at all. Over the last 2 years, out of 101 women returning after longer absences related to maternity or parental leave, 96 received an offer from us to return to their previous job position. Sure, it would be better if it was 100%. But it is not always possible. This is one of such cases,” Świerczewski summed up.
